Also, take a peek at the resources section

and maybe add to it with what you know in your area. I think that a first line of help since cult counseling is so rare, is contacting a Rape, Abuse, Incest hotline or women's center for referral for resources needed. They generally keep info updated and/ or contact you to existing orgs that offer help.

There will always be some hanger's on, even if M & P are imprisoned and top perps are too. But for those ready for and wanting help there are some things in place that may not be the ultimate resources but are far far better than the group itself.

I agree with the idea of people helping that are so inclined and able to, in ways of helping with employment and so on too. Counseling is something I hope everybody gets in touch with in getting out. Because Women's centers deal with the dynamics of domestic abuse as well as rape etc, they have a lot of understanding about dynamics similar to a high demand group and are universally available.

Maybe in the resources section an area could be updated where people could volunteer to be on call for looking up resources in their area and helping those seeking connections with existing resources.

I left without any resources and would do it a million times over in spite of the real hardships encountered along the way, versus having stayed in the Family.

So a big hurrah to any initiative that are in action now specific to high demand groups, and to those that are helpful and to any individuals willing to help. I would suppose there are many that could continue on with their works without all the family weird doctrine and such if they chose to.
