Even once using brutal discipline is a crime. I didn't mean to give the impression that it wasn't, as even one incident can cause lasting damage. But what I was thinking of was someone who was not consistently that way as opposed to real harsh monsters KNOWN as monsters who dished out very harsh beatings, confinements & punishments on a consistent basis. Sara Davidito comes to mind.
