I am not in a campaign to get the Family suffering. Is that your goal, your uncle's goal? If so, that is not what I mean by 'going beyond the call of duty'.
As a father he is doing what is expected for a father, that's his duty. Going beyond that is helping other for whom he can be a father, and treat them as if he were a father. Judging by his own admissions, he has not done that. He has not gone 'going beyond the call of duty' of a father. He has done just like what any other business person would have done.
