Acheick, like you, a great deal of people have mixed feelings about Jim LaMattery, both on MovingOn and on this board. I think this is only natural, given the circumstances. A lot of people appreciate what Jim is doing/trying to do but have questions about his methods. Jim has given extensive answers to many questions on MovingOn, and his answers have satisfied some people, and left others feeling that specific issues were not directly addressed. Some people feel there's been enough talk about all this & want to move on, others want to see Jim become more accountable so long as he remains a major player. This board gives everyone room to vent their feelings, so long as they are done respectfully and within our guidelines.

I agree with you that all of this must be hard on the LaMattery family, but I do have to question your statement: I don't think he has some kingdom he is trying to establish like a certain poster is trying real hard to portray (and using many names in the process to look like many people). I'm sorry that this poster has some bee in their bonnet and won't let it go or have any kind or supportive words to say at all.

Comments about kingdom-building aside, I'm not sure what you think that all or even most of the posts contrary to Jim are emanating from one poster. I'm not at liberty to divulge IP information as you understand, but when numerous people on NDN speak out strongly against Jim, and numerous people on MovingOn speak out strongly questioning Jim, I'm not sure how you arrive at the conclusion that only one poster (posting under numerous names) is criticizing Jim on this forum.

I trust you will understand that I cannot name how many people are questioning Jim, but I don't feel that your guess that this is all the work of one poster was helpful.
