If Esther changed her name to a Smith, then her estranged husband Hosea (Jonathan Berg) probably did the same thing. It's hard to imagine ditzy Esther being included in the inner circle & trusted for any leadership reasons, so she must have just tagged along after Hosea.
So what about all their kids? Did they follow their parents? Seems like 'Berg' isn't a popular name to have any more.
