when the older kids leave TF, the younger ones end up getting more rough treatment from their parents because they are so incensed that their offspring could possibly not want to live this higher calling of THEIRS (emphasis added!). The younger kids end up with not only more work, but even higher expectations and more restrictions to try and make sure they won't want to leave either. I'm sure more fear tactics end up being used.
