Maybe it would help to go through some of the stories of FG and their experiences and that will help you understand that the horror started with the first generation and carried on to the next and now the next. Getting out is an accomplishment and an earned badge of courage, imo. Did you check out the Beth Young link on generations? It is posted above under "not in the family way" and also posted on Journeys under "Generations". You might consider going to her site and discussing this with here there and she might be able to help you to understand.
