TFI is sooo Orwellian. There's 1988 a tract that was developed for the public in which Berg denounced pedophilia. Internally, he made it clear that this was to appease the g-d-antichrist system on the issue of pedophilia, which he knew to be a criminal activity. He also knew TFI was facing "persecution" because of it. Berg's more official "renunciation" of his own writings came in 1993 as a consequence of the UK court case. That renunciation simply conceded the likelihood that his followers may have interpreted MLs like The Devil Hates Sex to justify pedophilia. At the same time, there are internal documents (see Summit Jewels 1993) in which Zerby reiterates that there is no internal renunciation of the doctrine that the Law of Love applies to all age groups in TFI.
