Understanding cult dynamics CAN help ex-members of any given generation to understand the nature of the beast. Maybe then there will not be so many degrees of separation amongst the exers with regard to the cult experience.

Understanding how parents as youth got mixed up in a cult to begin with.

Understanding how it was not a matter of being stupid or not caring about their kids for most.

Understanding how affected all of us were in similar and in differing ways.

Understanding that we all need support from the damages of the past.

Understanding leads to support for and from each other if people want that.
