King Pooper & Mama Mosquito must think they're clever to have a seasoned criminal as their U.S. PR rep--after all, Claire will go down with the ship, because to defend the Family's criminal leadership is to defend herself. What they've overlooked is that Claire is easily discredited precisely because there's so much blood on her hands. I wonder how much longer before top leadership decide to remove Claire because she's more of a liability than an asset?
In King Pooper's missive to the faithful about U.S. "persecution" following Rick's murder/suicide, he praised Claire for taking so much heat and handling the PR problems with such skill. What came to mind immediately is the way TF's leadership have historically lifted people up with praise before tossing them onto the trash heap. King Pooper explained to the faithful that Claire is being singled out because she's so visible, but I wonder how long it will be before someone publishes story that shows the connection between Claire's personal history of alleged crimes and the criminal organization she speaks for?
