Jewlz, I'm taking this singular opportunity to say something personal: I admire your true grit. It's a Yank expresssion made famous in a movie with John Wayne, the Yank Cowboy Exemplar. I couldn't stand Wayne's persona when he was alive and making movies, but now that I've owed up to how much I'm a product of my culture, I can say with a measure of humility that I respect an Oz woman of true grit.
