Tsk, tsk, Yvonne. A couple months ago when you and I were discussing cannabis you ridiculed me for citing a study done on rats, telling me, "don't you know you can't extrapolate from rats to humans." But you're doing the same thing here in your post, with your kitten example, saying "I know it sounds extreme to compare this, but...", and you go ahead and do it anyway. Seems that you like to have it both ways, citing animal studies when they support your argument and dismissing them when they don't.
