Things are very well, thankyou! I'm very busy setting aside my winter right now, thankfully! It's a struggle to get through winter up here in cottage country if you don't squirrel enough away to get you through. I'll be going south again, as usual, too.

I think I've reached what birders call a 'right of passage' - I can identify most confusing fall warblars and shorebirds now.

I gave Fran my grass cutting business as she likes to cut grass and I don't. So now she's making good money and managing it all to her tastes. In the meatime, I have built up an amazing tree removal, landscaping, and handyman business. Ha, I'm so busy and getting so many calls (some it it grass cutting) that I've had to start a 2nd grass cutting business - it's a good thing I have lots of boys.

Spirit (David's dog) got stolen last March while I was down south and I still find myself grieving his loss at times. Boo hoo!

The pond I had dug turned out to be an amazing bird paradice this year. I'm planning to let it grow in naturally with cattails, pond weeds and willows for the most part - you know, let nature take it's course while I sit back and enjoy it. I've pretty much got all the materials set aside to build my art studio overlooking the pond and need only the time now to build it. Maybe next summer. I've got a few seller paintings on the go, paintings that I will finish when I get down south - where no phones ring to have me come build someone else's house.

Fran is now a girl on fire in regards to her having had a personal recovery from so much trauma in her past and has taken to gardenning the front yard for a passion-hobby. She's going to mastermind a Hanging Garden of Ethel - trellisses, wrought iron, bricks and cobblestones, etc. Me, I'm masterminding Burt's Bush - grow, grow, grow wild flowers and weeds.

Life is for living and we're loving it! X's and O's to you.
