My hubby and I sat there riveted for the whole hour, basically in tears. Finally, someone is getting the story across properly and those most affected are on the road to getting the help they need. I loved Dr. Phil's response to TF's satement saying - that doesn't cut it - you can't just say "oops" let's move on. It was soooo classic. They need to do something to fix that horrible past or it's going to keep haunting them every turn they make. ANd they need to quit trying to pass it off as isolated incidents with overzealous members - there are too many of us who know the truth for them to try and change their history.

Plus, TF is lying when they say all that was stopped in 1986 - we were in an active F. home until 1989 and forced sharing with other members was still going on at that time, with children around who may or may not have noticed the exchanging of partners, etc.

It was good that Dr. Phil focused on Jim's relationship with his daughter - I hope he gets the proper help also - I think he has a lot going for him and could accomplish so much if he would stop and take the time to help pick up the pieces rather than trying to attack from any angle he can. I see him as someone who is driven who is not paying attention to the fallout of his actions.

I'm feeling really good about this - that a lot of good is going to come out of it. It was so sad watching that young girl asking her mother why she is in this group and why she choses to turn her head to the wrongness of it all. Wow - great show!
