Jim LaMattery's insensitivity toward his daughter has reached a dangerous level. The personal information about Kristi that he disclosed in the opening of his October 4 letter makes her vulnerable to hate crimes by any nutcase who reads LaMatteryresource. Making this information public could result in Kristi's loss of employment. Her landlord could decide not to renew her lease. If Kristi wishes to disclose this sort of information, that's completely up to her. It's her life, wellbeing, and reputation that's at risk, and SHE should control who knows information that could get her killed, fired, or homeless.
By keeping Kristi's problems front and center on the various websites, Jim, John Jr., and Windy can avoid facing their own issues or answering too many questions about their own bad behavior in public.
