This is getting weird

I'm not sure why Windy's name was dragged into this & I haven't seen any 'bad public behavior' by her. The issue seems to be Jim's relationship with Kristi. That's what was made national news. Windy & John Jr. were victims.

Granted, John Jr. posted a letter publicly to Kristi when it would have been better to send it in a private e-mail or phone call, but I would warrant a guess that John Jr. has a far better relationship with Kristi than Jim. So as far as I can see the main issue is still Jim & Kristi. I'd leave John Jr. & Windy out of this. I saw John Jr. on the show & he looked totally sincere.

It really feels weird discussing these kind of private things about a family, you know? It doesn't even help much knowing that both Jim & Kristi deliberately chose to make it public on Dr. Phil, & even John Jr. made a point to post his family affairs on this board, what should have been a private letter.

I feel we owe it to the LaMatteries, as Jules said, to not see their name dragged through the mud & become an item of discussion as if they were just a TV show. But what I don't get is why do Jim & John Jr. feel forced to talk about private matters on all three public boards?

John Jr's letter was OK, you could see he was sincere even if I didn't think it should have been posted publicly, but I agree that Jim's 'Rose' letter on his website crosses some serious ethical boundaries, maybe unintentional. I hope so. I hope Jim takes it down soon to spare Kristi further pain.
