And I think that is what the show brought out so clearly - the ill preparedness. I liked how Dr. Phil repeated over several times that this was too big for Jim, for any of us. Professional therapists who understand the dynamics need to be called in. My hope was and is that, like the cult in Oregon that they helped, the show will love the ratings and use that money to start helping those SGs that need the financial assistance and the counseling to help them in their present lives. That would be the good to come out of this and I do believe a lot of good will come out of it even if some of it appears very difficult right now and there's some tension.

You're right how Jim portrayed himself and how he portrayed himself on these boards and interacting with other exmembers, young and old, he was definitely out of his league and alienated a lot of people. My hope is that he will be able to recognize that now and learn from it and by learning from that he can then go on and repair his relationship with his daughter.
