If you're here to serve the Lord, not Maria and Peter, you don't need to be in The Family.
That's the same evasive tactic Uncle Johnny tried to pull in his letter to Ricky. But it's not true or you wouldn't be in The Family, which by definition is spiritually led by Maria (just see what they had to say about Stephen Schaff).
