Our experiences in TF have been as different as we are. You have one idea and I another. I think it is about what I think. At the same time, your thoughts and ideas affect mine BECAUSE I am not that sure I am correct and without error.
What I saw in this whole conversation that starts by John Concerned asking a possible action and then John Seemore about his views. All of that triggered some reactions and I am trying to make sense of them. Some people advocate for a soft hand because of existing links to TF. Others don't have those links, and have a different response to the same question.
It makes me think of the mother of the child Salomon ordered to be cut in a half. It makes me suspect that mercy is a relative attitude. Maybe a Christian attitude is also relative in many to what or who they know on the other side.
Maybe mercy is not even an attitude but a preference just like the colors we choose to wear.
