Yes, how embarrassing. I can hardly believe I was SO NAIVE as to not see the red flags that the systemites I condemned saw.
Some of the Christian pshychologists that I've studied state that it's quite common for the abused to reconnect (even marry) abusers in an on going attempt to "fix" their pasts and not even know it. I think, in my particular case, in joining the Family I'm a classic example of a dysfunction person hooking up with a dysfunctional leader thinking all the while that I was right. UGG!
