I checked the ML Index & the various KWIC books & found quite a few references to Steven David. I haven't looked up the Letters themselves but from the snippets I read, Berg complained that Eve had Steven wrapped around her finger, Berg considered Steven a prophet at one point, then said he was deceived. Berg later complained that Steven tried to imitate him, even going around dressed in a cape like Berg used to in Tenerife. Berg later called him 'Steven Eve' instead of 'Steven David.'
If I get a chance I'll look up some pertinent quotes.
