I knew them pretty well, and what you all are saying is true.
We were recruited by them and were a part of their "drop-out of the chain pioneer North Africa" thing for about 1/2 a year. We spent most of that time in Malta. That was in '77 & '78. Anyway when we split from them to "rejoin" the Chain they weren't that happy about it.
I knew them pretty well from before, having been with them in '71 when they "pioneered" Toronto.
