Right.

gPaul Hartingdon could very well have been a nice person in the past, someone who genuinely loves his kids & who has helped SGs. For the record, I have no reason to doubt that. This would actually make Paul somewhat of an exception among Family leaders.h
--------------------
I've met many "nice folks" myself and otherwise I would have left the group probably in the very beginning (though most of them are out now I think). What makes me sad is that the many of us were lied to by handful of people, and many have suffered because another handful of people covered up their stuff, and another handful of people are calling us the liar and succeeded in indoctrinating their naive young people that we are the "blood dropping Vandari". Nothing really has changed from the beginning, did it? Except that some of us have woken up.

Paul Hartingdon might be one of the few FG exceptions left in the group that TFI perhaps can relay on, he either is/was one of the very few (kept himself clean) so to speak, or he has no shame. Time should tell.

"cthey bring on the cheery-faced, younger SGs to say that they've only experienced good things in the Familyc"

Right, problem with this, so called "nice" FG leadership and perhaps misinformed SG leadership is that they are betraying their own children by not educating them according with ALL the facts and information. And they are the one who is and has been causing their own needless persecution, but they live on and continue to cry out "let us live on."

My suggestion to them will be that those "nice well meaning folks" re-read all their writings, and figure out what do they REALLY believe in. Or they'll find they have entangled themselves so deep with structure and political side of the group that they are guilty by association.

I don't know Paul Hartingdon personally, in fact I never heard of him or just don't remember him, so I can not criticize him the way I can with other leadership. I do admire him for the fact that he is not in hiding and hope he will do the best he can to protect the innocent, and not just hidden leadership.

Sure there were/are some odd teachings and strange stuff for young moldable minds, strange but not harmful, so one thinks. Some of us never took everything we read literally, till we realized how cleverly things were put in to their writings and begin to see an absolutely other kind of world--different from a Christian New Nation.
