I don't care whether you're nerdy or whether you perceived yourself in a one-down position to your ex-wife. Your communications on the exer boards come across to me as extremely narcissistic. But then, that's only my interpretation of the evidence presented in your online behavior and substantiated reports of your offline behavior. This is not a snipe--it's an appraisal of your character issues based on professional training.
If you want to be effective in helping others, I suggest starting with yourself and sticking with a counseling regime.
