Brass tacks: it is called TRAUMA. Read the existing medical literature on trauma. It can keep you busy for quite some time. Most of what we know about the physiological and psychological effects of trauma comes from the last two decades, and particularly the last decade. Much after you were a leader in Sweden. I suggest you catch up.
