Cheer

Posted by Jo on December 14, 2005 at 02:25:47

Hey, the holidays is a time I used to hibernate and didn't want to wake up until New Years Day. Seems like I was made of lead, couldn't get up out of bed..
But that has been changing. So I just wanted to wish everyone some holiday cheer in whatever way you chose to celebrate the season. It was winter yesterday where I live, as in cold for these here parts, but today was spring again, teeshirts and a sunny day with a slightly cool breeze. Wish it stayed that way more often.
We're going to have a dinner feast with presents and stockings for the grandchildren and the pups.
Hot cocoa with cinnamon sticks to stir it topped with whipped cream and seasons favorites in dishes for all. My partner's adult children will prepare a turkey and we will fix all the trimmings and spend some time loving the ones we're with. Hey, hopefully there will be no big drama and when the tree comes down and the last needles are swept up from the hardwood floors I will be glad and I will not have hibernated. So happy holidays all. :)
