Your comment seems to be both uniformed and wildly speculative.

According to Rolling Stone, Ricky was very afraid of seeking psychiatric help, thanks to the trauma he had seen Merry Berg experience. http://www.xfamily.org/index.php/Rolling_Stone:_The_Life_and_Death_of_the_Chosen_One "'Maybe we should see somebody,' Elixcia said. 'A psychiatrist.' Ricky chuckled mordantly. 'If anyone listened to me, they would stick me in a crazy house,' he said. Ricky had an overpowering fear of being institutionalized, as Mene had been. It was one of his recurring nightmares."

A child who experiences severe trauma may develop Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I have written about my own personal journey towards healing from this disorder on MovingOn: http://www.movingon.org/article.asp?sID=8&Cat=33&ID=3396

How many times to I have to say this?: Do not confuse your hippie dippie search for meaning with the devastation that the Family caused for children raised within their ranks.

If you are looking for something that contributed to Ricky's desperate act then look at yourself. Any adult who saw the Davidito Book, and saw evidence of this innocent child being abused and his innocence destroyed and did nothing is responsible.

You created this evironment by doing nothing. You put this child and thousands of children in harms way by doing nothing. You and all the FGs like you are the reason we are dying.

What are you doing to make it right?
