I recently heard from my daughter who is a loyal F. member. Apparently, she just discovered that her oldest son is dyslexic. Her reaction to this condition surprised me. She acted very defensive about it. As if she were convincing herself that it was now a normal condition which can be treated and not a demonic or something she did wrong result. She told me she had done extensive research and about all the "new" awareness that has now been documented. Gee, actually, this is old news, but she acted as if this were today's news.

After listening to all this - to me, it made me feel like the roots of fear and guilt are still very much there. This is the same reason why she and her husband are having child after child because they do not want to be "second" best in God's kingdom. This whole idea coming from the top that it's ok to just run the race even if you don't win or get a prize or even finish is stupid. Dedicated people are not going to be satisfied with second place, they're going to still try and dot all the i's and cross all the t's.

I don't know, I think as long as they have that underlying fear pumped into them by Peter and Maria, the average F. member is go to try fist to "have the faith" and "get the victory". I'll be happy to know that none of them follow that anymore, but I seriously doubt it.
