Speaking of large families that are homeschooled...

In the US, there have been a series of documentary shows on the Duggar Family, a devout, Christian couple with 16 kids who live in Arkansas. (See: http://www.jimbob.info/)

They claim to live debt-free. The husband (Jim Bob) apparently earns a living doing real estate investment. He has also served in the Arkansas house of representatives and ran unsuccessfully for Congress in 2002. Here's a pic of the family's campaign poster for the 2002 bid for Congressional office that gives a flavour of their wholesome, down-home style: http://www.jimbob.info/images/2002family__duggar.jpg

The mom, Michelle, does the homeschooling. She's a very pretty woman, and when I watch her on TV, I can't get over how mellow she is with 16 kids swarming around her. She's had two sets of twins on her way to having 16.

These folks remind me a cross between TFI disciples and Bob & Hillary Clinton, also from Arkansas and famous for making a lot money in real estate deals, except the Duggars seem to be the real deal and not perverts passing themselves off as backwoods evangelicals with political ambitions.
