Of course nothing is 100% safe like you say, even when paid professionals handle it. I appreciate very much the volunteer work you and other webmasters do. It was wrong of the webmaster from the other site to steal the raw message data from your server, but maybe it wasn't kept in a very secure place if all it took was finding it.
I remember when that the webmaster stole that information.
I also remember something about another incident when a certain poster made a fuss about knowing the identities of each and every poster on NDN after finding out their IPs and deducing who the posters were.
I also remember other hacker not connected to TF hacking another site before or during the time you were taking care of it and I'm not sure if it it was shut down temporarily because of that.
Shit happens. I'm not trying to put you down.
