Yeah, I wonder. Berg talked over and over again how big his dick was. One letter he was talking to Maria and asked if he was so big that he hurt her. He actually sounded disappointed when she replied no, that he fit just fine. He wanted to hear her say the words, "Yes, you're so huge you cause me pain." I guess it would've fed his ego and the need to have power over others, even to cause them pain.
