i have some old mo books so when you posted those quotes i immediately went & looked to see if the battering quote was originally part of God's Gift before it was edited out & put up in the online quotes, but no the quotes in the mo book are exactly the same. so i must have been putting those 2 quotes together. well, they still add up to the same thing happening but not in so many words.
