I know I am doing what I can, and it is PLENTY, and a lot of people who post here are not mere armchair activists either.
For the record, I have done and am doing heaps, influencing the lives of many for the better, but nothing I can talk about or get on Time magazine for. I do my share of volunteer charity work, donate to humanitarian causes, even have held GENUINE bona fide positions in volunteer organizations. I have also done and am actively doing what I can for the cause of exposing the crimes of TF and aiding its victims. And yes I have also placed my own life in danger many a time.
If you have to use such Bergesque themes of upping the ante to silence opponents, what about YOU? Can you say you have doged minefields and ducked under sniper fire or thrown yourself in a ditch when shells whine over your head, just to retrieve an abondoned baby?
Why do YOU get to sit on YOUR high pedestal and assume anyone who posts here doesn't do as much as as great a work as your dear friend? According to your own belief system, wouldn't that a matter for God to judge? Or are you hearing from God and safely able to assume you're right, like so many F. sycophants?
Dear Sir/Madam, WHATEVER bit we do, whether it is to hold a job sweeping floors so we can feed our family, help the old granny across the street, drop a coin in the mug of a street sleeper, talk to a depressed uncle... WHATEVER we do, is our way of doing what we can for others. You imply by your own religious bigotry that you have already determined that the above little deeds would be nothing compared to your dear friend?

Dude/Dudette, you sound just like a Mo Letter! Your taunts about "What are you doing to help the world" are completely reminiscent of taunts by Berg and Maria to instill guilt, numb your mind, and make you receptive to whatever they say next.
To answer your point that Tim Peters is not about conning people out of their money, well it matters that he is working with a criminal organization to get his money.
