I was talking from experience. It seems to me that angry women are more easily "forgiven" by many than angry men.

But thank you for asking. It seems that gender is not a big factor but, of course, there is the dangerous link between verbal and physical violence. It is more dangerous in a man than in a woman (unless she has a weapon). There are many other factors I suspect, because not everybody goes from words to actions the same way.

Maybe, looking at same levels of verbal ability, we would start seeing some differences by gender, but I am not into that. I suspect women, in general, have a higher verbal ability than men but I don't know this either.

Meanwhile, look at this FAQ on the subject, and then let's look at the posts in this bulletin board. It would be interesting to see who appears to be more aggresive in their language.
