The quote where Crystal described severe symptoms of mental and emotional distress in Merry (in her simplistic and sadistic explaination as 'problems' on Merry's part) was part of a whole article published in the 80's.
It makes me recoil still to think how this young girl was imprisoned, tortured verbally, physically and sexually, abused and exploited, for months and years and then vilified and demonized for showing signs of breaking down.
And there are other cases... I am glad some people are archiving all these documents and piecing history together.
When is TF ever going to fess up to torture? They had their own Abu Ghraib facilities. The horrors perpetrated there will have to find full acknowledgment and accountability one day.
