We allow corporations to be created as their own separate beings. We understand that they are operated by individuals or groups, but, legally a corporation stands on its own.
Activated is absolutely up front in this letter about their support of TFI. That is probably the most we are going to get.
It is completely factual to say that Activated supports a group who has a past of child abuse, prostitution, torture, etc. This is pretty terrible in and of itself.
It is not factual to say that Activated IS The Family. Though it is very closely aligned, and many if not all employees are members of TFI. The letter states this clearly.
