The 'spoiling Egypt' practice seems to be very much alive & strong in the Family. What's sad in this case is to see some lady who had a chance to make a break from the group, finally give her kids a proper education & get a decent start on life, financed by German taxpayers. But she chose to go back to wallowing in the mire of the Family.
I'm guessing she was so 'institutionalized' that it would've been a huge step to break free. Did her kids even speak German altho their mother was a German national? I doubt that they did. They were also probably so far behind scholastically that she worried they'd never catch up. Add to that the stupid fear that she was 'failing God' by being back in the German Cake Dream, & you have a recipe for backsliding back into the Family.
