After some pondering I came to the conclusion, that you'r not ironic...I had a workmate/colleague, who was so clever & sarcastic, playing games, that at times I wouldn't notice, that I was the victim, since with many their grin is giving you the clue...well, no grinning here perceivable, I just have only these two possibilities & I think you meant, what you wrote...lengthy intro...

well, I have plenty of books about how eros entered into Greek mythology etc...the role of eros in Greek in general...fascinating, but then I haven't time to read'm...always imagine with all my books, that one day I'll read'm & it's good to have at least the chance...cause they shed some light...I posted something on journey touching the subject of a nobelprizewinner (austrian E. Jelinek...spelling?) who had quite a obscene language, too vivid of a phantasy for many...it sells, there is a need for many & that's simple fact.

Nobody talks about drinking water when it's easily available...but when it's missing it becomes a bigger agenda.
Whether eros is a subject here, I wouldn't know, I have talked about that confusion plenty in the past on journeys...the Greeks had enough words to keep eros &n love in it's place....as big as the english vocabulary is, they didn't feel the need to include much agape into it...allthough that could help to prevent some confusion...Germans aren't any better in that...

Well, could you please make a start...I am a bit shy ; ) (sigh...hopefully off the hook...)
