I had posted something on journeys (girl & the beast), as I focus myself on the problem, how people endure the loss of freedom, whatever the circumstances, survivalstrategies etc...

Unfortunately I only saw parts of the interview, plus the whole version was aired, when I was at work
& didn't bother about the hassle to program my recorder...but from I picked up, she's quite an amazing girl/woman...people are surprised how she pulled out of the ordeal. She's dedicated to set up
a fund to help woman in need etc.

She said, that what helped her was, that she had a fairly loving & good childhood...her parents are seperated/divorced (?) & I don't know at what time of her age...I was thinking of that a lot in comparison to Ricky...childhood is such a vital part in life, where you build up resources for later times...unless...well, that's why posted it on journeys...

Anyway, she made the decision to "go on air" at such atime...not to seek publicity, but, because the media wouldn't otherwise rest, unless being satisfied somehow, I guess that was her conclusion.

As a matter of fact, she now asked the media, to leave her in peace, until she decides to tell some more.Reader had answered on journeys with mentioning/linking another ugly case in America time back...In those case one thing sticks out, the culprit uses methods of fear to get the victim to cooperate, so that he even roams around with the victim in public, where the victim could have fled, unless chained by fear. She sought help by eyecontact, but people didn't get the signals.

She thought of herself though to be stronger than her abductor & reminded herself always, that one day she'd be strong enough to flee...

I think, that Natascha had a pretty good team of media advisors, therapists etc. at her disposal (from the government provided), that helped her being shielded as much as possible...as a matter of fact, she could have selled already big the news & story, but instead decided to do it for free for the public channel...but from whatever rights she will hold I think she wants to set up a fund to help others.

Of course, what hit quickly the headline was the subject, what she had in common with her abductor, to what she was sexually forced etc...as she said, that his suicide wasn't really necessary & not her
desire etc.

Anyway, she already surprised the media, the public, the psychologist etc. as she uses very
high standard vocabulary, having taught herself, reading books, watching TV etc....she intends now to make her highschooldiploma...

Quite a case in many ways.
