well, now that's interesting. I did not know that. Yes, I joined with the JPA in August of 71. But still, I never really read anything like that until I was married and started having children. I remember Mt. Maid, I was already in Thailand when it came out. That would have been around '73. When I joined, all they had was xerox copies in big binders. And only the big leaders got to have those binders. They would read us one or two letters out of them now and then, like Sounds in the Night, Mt. Men, all that "milky" stuff. Before Mt. Maid came out, we were very strict about how we dressed and sleeping separately, etc. There was no hint of those sexual excesses.
