I worked in Paris for a while when the show group becoming famous. When I moved to another European country I was still able to keep up with Paris show group news, so even though I wasn't there when they got to know JM I did hear about from news we got from Paris.
Anyway, JM had moved to France and had broken into the music industry there. She got to know the Paris show group and the Family and became a close friend of some Family members, I think in particular Jeremiah Singer and Black Simon. If I remember right she was already a born again Christian when she met the show group.
She visited their home and they visited her.
At this time she fell in love with an Frenchman who worked for a big Paris advertising group. Apparently she recorded the song "Un Enfant Est Né" for the Bible album not long after she and her husband (or still fiancé?) learned of her being pregant.
Berg may have written to her, I don't know, but he obviously had the hots for her, and somehow he got rejected. One thing can probably be determined with pretty much certainty, at some point she chose not to join the Family, and fell in love with a "systemite". Berg's fantasies did the rest.
