It just so happens that I have met this individual in person.
I like your perspective, though; it's something that I'm going to consider. I have lost touch with friends over the years because of a job change or move. But those friendships have followed a natural course. When one loses a friend due to an argument or disagreement, it's a little harder for me. Something in me wants to right it; but the way to do that isn't apparent. If there is no reason to apologize then I just have to let it be.
