Lack of education is a sore point for many SGs and it is not their fault, so it's no good rubbing salt in their wounds. Jeb is right in that just because they cannot express themselves as well does not make them less valid. My point however, is that he should be addressing the legacy of TF rather than try to make people who have moved on go backwards into the bad thing that gave him its legacy.
