There is an air of suspicion and tension and newcomers are not welcome. Someone who posted here as Researcher went over there on a tip from one of their admins, looking for Ironsides, and intially got shit for posting. His posts were removed in the end maybe by request.

The same admin recently theorized that exfamily was created to be an anti-NDN site.

The admin that responded to Billie's post said there was no third party verification even though WC's name was on it. Guess they don't acknowledge WC when it comes down to it. He said that Billie lacked common courtesy by not asking for permission to solicit money from their participants; that the mere announcement of her book on their site was pushiness and presumption and a definite turn-off for him.

"For now, your advertisement is being allowed to stay up. If our posters feel inclined to buy your book, they are free to do so. After Christmas, the whole thread will be deleted -- unless you want it removed before then."

Well Merry Christmas admin. You know who you are!

If they erase everything, this is what I had posted in reply.

"I reposted on behalf of Billie after seeing her post at exfamily. It's not her fault. I apologize for using NDN space to advertise. I never quite looked at it that way. This was simply a woman in dire need, who has something to sell insttead of begging, and I only wanted to help. Billie suffered tremendously from her time in the family. She's not running a chairty scam or raising money for anything else other than her own medical needs. I thought there would be some solidarity among ex-members, but this unfriendliness is not what I expected."
