WS short of money?

Maybe we are making a dent in TF's income after all, educating the public about the FCF, and aiding with their bad publicity.

Christmas Offerings
By Peter
December 21, 2006

Dearest Family,

Happy Christmas! Mama and I love each of you very much, and we're praying for you daily. We're claiming the keys of witnessing, open doors, fruitfulness, abundant supply, health and happiness for you during this special time of year when people are more receptive to the message of the Lord's love and salvation.

Thank you for pouring out, dear Family. Thank you for sacrificing your time, your strength and your energy to get out the message this Christmas. Mama and I have already begun hearing many exciting Christmas witnessing testimonies, and each one is an inspiration to us.

In addition to praying for your strength, health, happiness, inspiration, protection, and for the Lord to lead you to the needy ones He wants you to reach this Christmas, we've also been praying for abundant financial supply for each of your Homes, and we trust that the Lord is answering our prayers.

I've recently been working on the year-end GN, which will reach you in the first few months of 2007. In going over the worldwide stats, and in particular the worldwide finance report, the Lord laid it on my heart to share a brief update on Family finances with you now, in advance of the year-end GN.

For the past year WS finances have been quite low. In fact, gifts and offerings are down by 40% from two years ago. This drop in gifts and offerings has caused a drop in WS income, which has made Family finances very tight. For the last several months, WS has not been able to issue budgets in full; we've had to cut back, and if finances don't improve, we'll have to cut some gifts altogether and possibly cut some services. It's been quite difficult to fund all the regular budgets and services WS provides to the Family, and to move forward with new initiatives and projects.

We're claiming miracles of supply, and we'd like to ask that you join us in praying for these miracles. And since December is usually a time when people are in a more giving frame of mind, and consequently our Homes generally do better in this area, if your Home is planning to give financial gifts at the close of the Christmas season, Mama and I would like to request that you please consider giving to WS, along with any other Homes or individuals the Lord shows you to give to.

We wouldn't make this request if WS' financial situation was not as serious as it presently is. There are a number of important projects coming up-both regional initiatives and international board projects, such as creating a number of training programs, just to give one example-that will require funding to bring to reality, and we're finding ourselves unable to fund some of these very important projects, unless finances increase.

Please pray with us for the Lord's abundant financial supply during this Christmas season, and also through windfalls, inheritances, and large offerings to WS, which will enable us to fund these big needs, and to continue providing WS and board services to you, as well as the regular pubs, production of music, mission gifts, etc.

Thank you very much, dear Family. We're very thankful to you for so faithfully giving your tithes, your 1% to the FAF, and your 3% to your region's Common Pot. WS couldn't serve you without your giving, and we're very grateful. We know that it costs you every time you give above your tithe and additional 4%. We know it's a sacrifice for you to give, and that makes us appreciate your giving even more.

We know that our Husband is able to supply abundantly above what we could ask for or need-both for WS' financial needs, and for the needs of every Home worldwide. We can't be out on the front lines doing the big job you are, but we're right with you in spirit, doing what we can to aid you, through our fervent prayers. We're claiming a miraculous outpouring of the Lord's supply for us all, and we ask that you do the same.

Mama and I and all of our WS units are praying daily for your Christmas outreach. We're claiming countless lives touched and reached with the Gospel, souls won, and abundant supply of all of your needs, both financial and otherwise.

We know that our Lover has many blessings, abundant treasures, and special Christmas presents of the spirit that He's preparing to shower you with. Because you live to give Him to others full-time, it's His pleasure to provide all your needs and more through His keys of supply that open the windows of Heaven.

We love you, dear Family! We appreciate you so much, and pray that you have a very Merry Christmas.

With love in our Husband,
