I know it's very frustrating. I won't give up trying to figure out what is happening.
I'm using IE6 at home because I'm still using Windows 2000 on that PC, and I'm not having any trouble. I'm also set at "Automatically". Sometimes, even with that when I'm changing things on a website, I have to close the IE window and open a new one just to make sure I get to see the change in the browser. But, I don't recall having a problem displaying new messages at NDN.
There probably are others having the problem, but they might just think NDN is slow.
