I'm a very different person now too. Getting freed from fear has so much to do with it. Fear is a huge subject, because there are different types of fear and different levels.
Fear was a dominating factor when I was a Fam member.
At the moment I only have time to mention only one aspect of this subject: a fear that permeated my existence before and while in the Fam is the low esteem I had for myself. Since I left I studied for and have been working in a job that I enjoy and have become good at. And I'm still learning and getting developing my professional skills. I feel good about myself now, the opposite of how I was allowed to be in the group. I still have some temporary struggles having some doubts, etc., but it's not at all like it used to be.
