No, I really don't mean to argue!

I really don't want to argue at all. You've just been propagating a certain idea about yourself never hardly suffering any ill effects from all that time in. I want to know more about that, hope you don't mind. I want to cut to the chase and ask hard and direct questions, about how you've processed your past. People that have spent decades inside a destructive cult don't tend to come out without any scars. From what I understand it isn't really possible to bypass the usual first stages of denial, anger, pain, remorse, guilt, reevaluation, the creeping realizations, the questioning. Did you go through any of that? When someone goes, "oh well that was the past, I'm a new person now, born again in my new life outside TF," it sounds like they are applying cult techniques to compartmentalize and place the blinders on. I'm sure you disagree, that is why I want to ask. Maybe we don't all have to go through all that soul searching and it would be great. I appreciate your time into this.
