There is another cult called "Ekankar" and a higher up that defected told of how the founder of that one spliced some religions together and added a dash or so of fantasy helpers supposedly met along the way. One of them closely resembled a sign for a town that the cult leader passed regularly. Goes to show how sometimes names come up of demons, spirit helpers and all that jazz, names concocted oftentimes from something seen along the way.
