Well, actually, it was for Billie but you deserve the best too.
Fran and I had a hell of a pile of healing to do and our first ten years after coming out of the group were not really healing years. In fact, they were years of madness: broken down this, broken down that, broke, intense marrital struggles, kids running wild - ahhhhhh! They were years of blaming the group and anger at the group, as well as personal anger toward ourselves for "failing" withing the group. It was only after finally letting go of the group (thanks to these boards) and the dream to win the world within the group, and grieving the losses of both the good and the bad of the group that we began to grow. It was tough - very tough.
